8-24-2013: What I'm working with currently and this had shrank some from being out in the day. This is a banded braid out (with soft definition as I didn't use anything with outstanding hold to it) that I then used a pik to add volume at the roots.

Hey guys. What's going on? Haven't updated in a month. I'm still here, just living life and embarking on tons of summer adventures. If you want more instant updates on what I'm up to, you can follow me on Instagram. I took my crochet braids out about 3 weeks ago and have been wearing my hair out. I traded in my camera for money towards purchasing a better bridge camera, the Nikon COOLPIX L820, so no hair or other cool pics unless taken on my iPhone. I am planning on having a new camera by the end of the year so I can get back to it in full force. Until then, I'm going to try again with guerrilla style posting on here. My hair is doing well and thriving, it's getting pretty long. I'm diggin it and I'm fighting the urge to play with color again. I so want to go a bright or dark auburn for the fall but have to find a way to do it without lifting (aka bleaching) my original hair color first. Oh the temptation!

Other then that, I'm working on some great things that I will be able to share with you all very soon. Some are beauty related and some aren't. I'm glad to be involved in self starting a healthy mix of things. It's time to make things happen! It's great to connect with so many people that I may not have been able to sans the interwebs.
