One of my goals for the blog this year was to build more kinky, kurly, koily hair related networks and contacts in Cincinnati, OH. My parents have lived in the Queen city for almost 10 years and when I come to visit them, it's only natural, pun intended, that I try to get the scoop on the Cincy natural scene. I'm planning on maybe even hosting a natural hair meet up there in the summer. I have a few Cincy businesses in mind that I would want to reach out to for sponsorship. So any Cincy residents that read this blog, let me know what you guys think and spread the word. Share any ideas you have on what you would want to see; vendors? workshops? discussions? etc. Let me know! I want to see what kind of response I get. If it's big enough, I'll move forward with it.
For my NYC area readers, I have some things up my sleeve for here too so it's all good. I just may end up being the hardest working, natural hair enthusiast in 2011 and beyond!
